Let’s be inspired, because in every sector there are stories worth telling
We will open the conference with birthday wishes, as YMS will celebrate 35 years in the IT market in September.
The program will begin with the story of the Slovak National Accreditation Service and the new generation of the Accreditation Information System (AIS). After 10 years, we completely rebuilt the AIS system from the ground up — the new generation is more secure, more flexible and more intuitive. Its technical foundation is our yAgenda platform for a modern electronic organization, giving users and administrators much more freedom and control over how they work with the system.
Representatives of Lesy SR, state enterprise will continue with the completely new WebGIS 6.0 in forestry edition. The new design, refined ergonomics and redesigned functionality have transformed our map portal into a modern, intuitive and functionally rich geospatial information system. It is suitable for any organization that manages territories, infrastructure, technologies, natural resources or assets.
Following this, the Central Control and Testing Authority of Agriculture CÚR will present top services, clarity and the scope of their new system. CÚR now has nearly a hundred running electronic services, placing it even ahead of the eSlovensko portal. Despite the challenging agenda and its initially unconnected state, the CÚR system is today an example of a well-electronized state institution.
Another digitized organization is the State Veterinary and Food Administration of the Slovak Republic (ŠVPS SR) with the KVEPIS system. Like CÚR, ŠVPS SR manages a demanding nationwide agenda — specifically the health of farm animals and food. Representatives of IT at ŠVPS SR will show how the modules of the system are being rolled out into use and how electronic services are being published.
We will continue with the presentation of the European project FOCAL. We are working in a strong consortium of partners on an intelligent platform for modeling the impacts of climate change with forestry and urban focus. We will show how we work with data, models and artificial intelligence so that foresters and urban planners know exactly what to do on their territories to protect us from the negative impacts of climate change.
The state of EU fund utilization in today’s tense times will be explained by the President of Partnerships for Prosperity, Milan Ištván. You will learn how things look with the funds, where calls are being cancelled, where projects can still be submitted, and how to orient yourself in it all.
The official program will close with a walk through Slovakia, in the story from the notes of the Slovak geological giant Dionýz Štúr. Thanks to digitization and the enthusiasm of contemporary Slovak geologists, Slovak geological heritage is not only preserved but also brought to life.
