Price for a modern, highly automated yCapacity business dispatching system
We won the award in the Slovak system integrator category for our electronic business dispatching system yCapacity.
It serves to manage trading in gas transportation and storage and is a technologically advanced system of world standard. It runs in two languages, is highly secured, highly automated, ergonomic with a modern client and publicly accessible zone. As the only one in Europe, it is connected to all three European gas auction platforms for the sale of gas transportation capacities. Slovakia can thus boast of a sophisticated system that ensures the security and reliability of trade in this key commodity 24/7.
Says Marek Ivaňák, YMS project manager, who accepted the award for YMS system integrator in Brno: “yCapacity contains more than half a billion data and performs tens of thousands of mathematically and commercially demanding operations every day, 90 percent of them automatically. It runs on the latest technologies. It is extremely reliable and powerful. I am convinced that it is a real help for the daily management of such a demanding business as gas transportation.”
Receiving the award during the International Engineering Fair in Brno
The presentation of the prestigious award was for the sixth time an accompanying event of the International Engineering Fair, which is held annually in Brno.
All category winners participated in a panel discussion, where they talked about the successes and challenges overcome in the awarded projects. Marek Ivaňák shared our experiences with the implementation of automation and artificial intelligence, and it turned out that across industries and different types of companies, even in completely different business areas, very similar problems and challenges are being solved.
Marek Ivaňák says: “For an IT company, the introduction of artificial intelligence is a matter of survival, and in a relatively very short time frame. If we do not automate all standard programming activities with artificial intelligence, we will soon no longer be competitive. The IT world is moving very quickly towards AI agents cooperating with experienced programmers, which we also see as our future. The result will be even better, more efficient and faster delivered products.”

The focus of the Czech-Slovak Industry 4.0 Award is to highlight projects in the Czech Republic and Slovakia that successfully apply modern technologies – such as digitalization of production, robotization, artificial intelligence, or digital twins – and thereby significantly advance the competitiveness of industry in both countries.
In 35 years in the IT business, we have collected many awards, whether for implementations, long-term partnerships, decent projects, or client satisfaction. The Industry 4.0 Award is the first for YMS in the field of industry, therefore it has a special value for us, comparable to other, significant national trophies such as IT Project of the Year or Innovative Act of the Year.
Marek Ivaňák adds: “The awards stand out nicely in a specially set up place. Captured moments of small and large, but always joint team victories, which testify to our constant effort for professionalism and reliability. Together with a human approach, these values have motivated us from the beginning and it is a great feeling to see that our efforts are also appreciated by independent juries of experts.
