Space hackaton gaming edition
The Slovak Space Agency regularly organizes hackathons, competitions in the processing of satellite data on various topics. Radovan Hilbert mentored young contestants during the special gaming edition of the hackathon, the aim of which was to bring the space closer to people using computer games.

DASATO Idea Lab Trnava
The first Slovak incubator for high school students of the non-profit organization DASATO is for young people who want to start something of their own, regardless of whether they have an idea or are looking for it. The program develops students and supports them in creativity and entrepreneurship through educational workshops, lectures, and mentoring with experts from practice.
At the IdeaLab event, our expert Radovan Hilbert gave a motivational lecture for the participating youth and mentored the competition teams.
Children’s Fire University
we participated at the 2nd meeting of the Children’s Fire University with the theme “Fire and extinguishing” at the Technical University in Zvolen. The concept of fire, extinguishing methods, but also the principles of behavior in the event of a fire and reporting a fire were explained to the children.
Says Radovan Hilbert:
It was an honor for us to contribute, because every 1 euro invested in prevention balances 7 euros of damage that will not occur. Investment in children’s education is priceless.
International Conference on Fire Engineering
The Technical University in Zvolen also organized the 13th edition of the international conference ADVANCED IN FIRE AND SAFETY ENGINEERING 2024, which was attended by members of the Fire and Rescue Service and members of volunteer fire brigades.
Radovan Hilbert presented the possibilities of using geographic information systems and geospatial data in the fight against fires in the phase of prevention, preparedness and response.
