The 24th annual Geospatial Visions conference will once again bring inspiring projects

The 24th year of the traditional, popular professional and social conference YMS will be held on Thursday and Friday, September 25 and 26, 2025 at the Sitno Hotel, Vyhne.

For the 24th time, we invite you to join a strong circle of partners, colleagues and friends with whom you exchange experiences and share insights into your key systems every year. You can look forward to the intelligent and inspiring company of people who understand electronics in depth.

Our clients are already preparing presentations of new projects that once again increase the quality of services in public administration. You will hear the experiences and knowledge of people who are implementing these projects. You will advance your knowledge, gain inspiration and many pleasant personal experiences.

We will open the conference with a birthday toast, as YMS will celebrate 35 years on the IT market in September.

The program starts the story of the Slovak National Accreditation Service and the new generation of the Accreditation Information System (AIS). After 10 years, we have completely redesigned the AIS system and the new generation is more secure, flexible and intuitive. The technical basis is our yAgenda platform for modern electronic organization and gives users and administrators much more freedom and control over how they work with the system.

Representatives of Forests of SR, š.p. will continue with the completely new WebGIS 6.0 in the forestry edition. The new design, tuned ergonomics, and refined functionality have transformed our map portal into a modern, intuitive, extremely user-friendly and yet functionally packed geospatial information system. Suitable for any organization that manages territories, infrastructure, technologies, natural resources or property.

After the fairy tale in 2024, representatives of the Central Inspection and Testing Office of Agriculture in Bratislava will demonstrate the top services, clarity, and scope of their new system, the Central Data Repository. Today, the ÚKSÚP has almost a hundred running electronic services, which placed it even ahead of the eSlovensko portal. Despite the demanding agenda and the initial state of disconnection, the ÚKSÚP system is today an example of a well-electronicized state institution.

Another digitized organization is the State Veterinary and Food Administration of the Slovak Republic with the KVEPIS system. Similar to the ÚKSÚP, the ŠVPS SR also takes care of a demanding nationwide agenda – specifically the health of farm animals and food. The deployment of the system modules into use and the publication of electronic services will be presented to us by the IT representatives of the ŠVPS SR.

The official program will conclude with a walk through Slovakia, in a story from the notes of the Slovak geological giant Dionýz Štúr. Thanks to digitization and the enthusiasm of contemporary Slovak geologists, the Slovak geological heritage is not only preserved, but also revived.
